Two brothers, Bill and Marty Hamway, formed a partnership in 1978 and launched their family-run custom building company, now known as Hamway Homes Inc.

Bill is a licensed builder who works closely with homeowners from conception to completion. Marty oversees the scheduling and mechanical aspects of every project. Beth Hamway, Bill’s wife, manages the company’s office and does the bookkeeping. Together the Hamways make every effort to instill confidence, build a foundation of trust and deliver the finely detailed, solidly built homes their customers want.

Recognized for excellence

In recognition of its home building excellence, Hamway Homes was selected as “Builder of the Month” in May 2000 and May 2002 by Home Spotlight magazine and was featured in Builder/Architect magazine the previous year. The Hamways are members of the Livingston County Home Builders Association and their homes have been showcased in the association’s Cavalcade of Homes. Bill also served as president of the association in 1995.

Land development and remodeling

Hamway Homes develops land for subdivisions, including their newest residential community, Sundance Meadows near Howell, Michigan, which features attractive one-acre home sites in a park-like setting.
